In the 41st Century There Is Only War!

The setting is the Charadon Sector, home to the forge world Metalica and thus a crucial source of material resources for the Imperial war machine. Recently troubled by Drukhari pirate incoursions, the sector is on high alert and the local forces count multiple Adeptus Mechanicus macroclades, Astra Militarum regiments, Adepta Sororitas orders, Adeptus Astartes chapter strike forces and the Titan legion of House Raven. However, none of this was enough to prepare them for the plague that is about to vomit forth into the sector.

Death Guard

Tasked by none other than Abaddon the Despoiler, Lord Typhus, Master of the Destroyer Hive, spearheads the invasion of the Charadon sector onboard his capital ship Terminus Est. With him is a plague-ridden assault force counting thousands of pox walkers, chaos space marines and all sorts of nefarious creatures carrying the foetid blessing of Father Nurgle.

Faradin Asto, Captain of the Crimson Fists 3rd Company 'The Red Lightning', ia leading a strike force in support of the campaign against the Drukhari incursion. With him is several squads of battleline, assault and support intercessors as well as Brother Jachaeus, one of the company's honoured Redemptor Dreadnaughts. Easily enough firepower to purge a Drukhari pirate expedition, but is it enough to withstand the full frontal assault of the Drath Guard?
